complaining of epigastric pain and persistent vomiting was admitted to the
endoscopy unit. The patient underwent upper digestive endoscopy. The scope
revealed gastric erythematous mottling. Also, the endoscopist noticed a lesion
at the upper esophagus. In your opinion, should we proceed with investigations or
discard this esophageal lesion?
