an expected diagnosis


A 32-year-old woman presented with persistent epigastric pain, dyspepsia, and intolerance of food or drink. The patient has a history of receiving medications for her condition without improvement. The examination is unremarkable apart from generalized #vitiligo. The patient underwent an upper digestive endoscopy. The scope revealed erythematous mottling and excess mucus in the stomach. Also, there is superficial duodenitis. Biopsy and histopathology examination revealed #H. PYLORI duodenitis and #AUTOIMMUNE gastritis.
