Pocket like lesion in the stomach
A 68-year-old man presented with repeated vomiting,
epigastric pain, and weight loss was admitted to the endoscopy unit. Computed tomography
of the abdomen revealed increased gastric wall thickness.
The patient underwent upper digestive endoscopy. The scope revealed
a polypoid lesion in the fundus of the stomach. Also, the scope showed a pocket-like
lesion under the polypoid mass. The pocket had a large ulcerative opening, and
it was full of fluid and necrotic tissue.
