#submucosal lesion. What is your provisional diagnosis?


A 64-year-old woman was admitted to the endoscopy unit for follow-up endotherapy for esophageal varices. the patient underwent upper GI endoscopy. The scope revealed a submucosal lesion in the gastric fundus. Examination of this lesion by pressing on it revealed it is firm.
What is your provisional diagnosis? What is your plan of treatment?
