#Treatment of esophageal and gastric varices at the same setting

A 59-year-old man presented with an attack of hematemesis and melena was admitted to the GI endoscopy unit. The patient gives a history of chronic liver disease and previously treated chronic HCV. The patient underwent upper digestive endoscopy. The scope revealed gastric and esophageal varices. Gastric varices were injected with 5-amp amcrylate https://www.indiamart.com/proddetail/cyanoacrylate-bioadhesive-20448937091.html then the esophageal varices were band ligated at the same setting.

N.B: you can notice the bulge from the gastric varices ( it looks like varices on varices), and it is the riskiest site in this varix.
