A 65-year-old man presented with hematemesis and melena was admitted to the endoscopy unit. the patient gives a history of HCV treatment 4 years ago. the patient underwent upper digestive endoscopy. the score revealed esophageal varices, gastric varices, and multiple linear ulcers in the body and pyloric regions. QUESTIONS: What is the cause of these ulcers? Is there any underlying pathophysiology for this pattern of ulcers in this area?
