endoscopic demonstration of a case of #achalasia


A 84-year-old woman presented with repeated vomiting, dysphagia, and weight loss. The patient underwent upper digestive endoscopy, the scope revealed a tight lower esophageal sphincter and dilated esophagus with retained fluids and food. You can notice that the scope passed the cardia with difficulty and causing a laceration to the lower esophageal mucosa. What are your lines of treatment?
