A 59-year-old man presented with upper gastrointestinal bleeding was admitted to the GI endoscopy unit. the patient underwent upper digestive endoscopy. the scope revealed esophageal varices( interrupted arrow) and #portal hypertensive gastropathy in the fundus of the stomach( arrow). Also, there are multiple elongated mucosal folds( #rugae) versus #antral varices. What is your opinion about the lesions in the antrum, is it normal or abnormal, antral varices or not: 1- Normal finding 2- abnormal antral rugae. 3- GAVE. 4- Antral varices 5- others

I do not thank that IS a varice i think it IS hypertrophique fold
Is there a maneuver like palpation with closed biopsy forceps or an investigation eg EUS that can help prove or disprove the diagnosis
