when endoscopist acts as an ENT specialist#

A 66-year-old woman presented with epigastric pain was admitted to the endoscopy unit. The patient underwent upper GI endoscopy. The scope accidentally showed this lesion (arrow) on withdrawal of the scope from the throat.

1-What is this organ?

2- is it normal or not?

3- is it standard to see this during upper digestive endoscopy?
