A 26-year-old man presented with recurrent bleeding per rectum, abdominal pain, and excessive mucus was admitted to the hospital. The patient underwent a colonoscopy that revealed yellowish slough, rectal edema, erythema, and superficial ulcerations. Multiple biopsies were taken and histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of solitary rectal ulcer#.
