A 68-year-old woman was admitted to the GI endoscopy unit for follow-up endotherapy. The scope revealed a large fundal varix. The varices were injected with 7 ampoules of amcrylate and olive oil (the lipiodol is unavailable). Two notes about this case: 1- You can notice the change of the color of varix after injection i.e. from red to the color of amcrylate (blue). 2- You can check that the procedure is competent by gently pressing varix after injection (it is turned from lax to rigid).
