Endoscopic manometry#
(EMY) and endoscopic PH monitoring#( EPHM)
Can we use
the present versions of GI endoscopy for PH monitoring and also as a manometry?
If not, what are the needed modifications to make it suitable for such
maneuvers? I think it is a challenging method, but it is not impossible. As EUS,
through the endoscopy, we can do ultrasonography, so why not through the
endoscopy? Also, we can do PH monitoring and manometric measurements. It will
be useful and helpful for both the doctors and the patients.
