A 62-year-old man with chronic liver disease. The patient on regular endotherapy for esophageal varices( band ligation). This time, the patient presented with melena. Upper digestive endoscopy revealed esophageal varices, severe portal hypertensive gastropathy ( mainly the cause of bleeding).
