A 64-year-old man with decompensated chronic liver disease on regular sclerotherapy for esophageal varices presented with upper GI bleeding. Upper digestive endoscopy revealed bleeding gastropathy, and we accidentally discovered a lower esophageal fistula at the site of the previous sclerotherapies. NO any complaint from the esophageal fistula as it may not penetrate the outside of the esophagus.
