A 23-year-old woman presented with persistent epigastric pain of 2 years duration. The patient sought medical advice with treatment in the form of proton pump inhibitors. Unfortunately, no complete improvement was detected. Upper digestive endoscopy revealed a nodular gastric mucosa( suggestive of h pylori infection). Multiple biopsies were taken for histopathology.

Nodularity is characterized by the appearance of multiple whitish elevated lesions mainly in pyloric gland mucosa. The lymphoid follicle is histologically proved to be included in a nodular lesion. Nodular gastritis induced by H. pylori infection has been shown to be a high risk for diffuse-type gastric cancer in young women.Nodular change.Nodular protrusions measuring 2–3 mm are uniformly distributed in the gastric angle to antrum.
