GI masses and hepatic metastases

A 64 -year -old man was referred to our hospital for a total colonoscopy. The patient gave a past history of right leg deep venous thrombosis 3 months ago. His pelviabdominal ultrasonography and abdominopelvic computed tomography scan showed multiple hepatic metastases. Serum carcinoembryonic antigen was 2143. Total colonoscopy was done and revealed normal colonic mucosa without any abnormalities. The patient gives past history of weight loss, anorexia and dyspepsia, so we advise the patient for upper GI endoscopy that revealed 2 masses, one in the fundus of the stomach, which easily bleeds on touch (no biopsies were taken), and another lower esophageal mass. Multiple biopsies were taken from the esophageal mass for histopathological mass. What is your provisional diagnosis?

histopathology :adenocarcinoma
