despite visible, it is out of reach

A 43-year-old woman who presented with bleeding per rectum was admitted to the endoscopy unit. The patient underwent a colonoscopy. The scope revealed a picture of ulcerative colitis in the descending colon and rectum. The ileum was visible, but multiple trials to intubate the ileum failed( pushing and withdrawing the scope). Intubation was done with the assistance of closed forceps.
