A 38-year-old woman presented with bleeding per rectum and was admitted to the endoscopy unit. The patient underwent a #colonoscopy. The scope revealed internal piles. Band ligation was done.
Tips & tricks:
1- The field of vision is narrowed, and the scope's maneuverability is limited compared to the banding of esophageal varices.
2- After band ligation of the first vessel. Other vessels became collapsed, so it is difficult to see them, and banding became complex.
3- You should carefully examine the vessels before applying the rubber band device on the scope.
