Incomplete pyloric obstruction#




A 59-year-old man presented to the GI endoscopy unit with persistent epigastric pain#, weight loss, dyspepsia#, and intermittent bleeding per rectum. The patient underwent upper digestive endoscopy that revealed a retained food and fluid in the stomach (the patient was fasting for 7 hours), deep ulcer in the first part of the duodenum that contains food remnants(arrow), and the root of a polyp (broken arrow).
