Even profoundly impacted journals can be subjected to publication bias#



An original article( CAR T study#) published in nature# in September, a review article based on this article published in NEJM#, was retracted.
The article in Nature discussed the chimeric antigen receptor T  cell therapy in blood cancers. The researchers claim that they developed a treatment that targets the delivery of t cells to brain malignancies.
Thanks for the pubpeer#, a platform for the comments that raised the suspicion of publication bias in the article. Also, many thanks for Nature and the New-England Journal of medicine, who respond quickly to the comments and retract both papers.
