A 78-year-old man was presented with an attack of hematemesis and melena. The patient gives a history of chronic liver disease due to HCV infection. Upper digestive endoscopy# revealed esophageal varices# with gastric extension. The washing of the stomach fundus showed the site of bleeding on the varices. N.B: It is rare to find the site of bleeding on the varices.
