gastrointestinal spider angiomas#, spider nevi#



A65-year-old woman with a history of liver cirrhosis# due HCV infection presented with severe anemia with a hemoglobin level of 5.6 g/dL. The patient received a blood transfusion, and upper digestive endoscopy# was done that revealed esophageal varices, dilated fundal veins and multiple spider nevi# in the stomach(in the body, fundus and the antrum) and duodenum.
N.B:
You can notice one giant spider angioma# in the fundus, but its color is less reddish than the other ones, did you see it.
