Gastric cancer#(Signet ring cell carcinoma)

A 48-year-old woman presented with severe epigastric pain three months ago. The patient was diagnosed with h pylori infection and took her medical treatment but without improvement. She has referred fo upper GI endoscopy that showed excessive frothy gastric content and difficulty in inflation of the stomach. There is a large gastric mass in the body of the stomach. Multiple biopsies were taken for histopathological examination and revealed Signet ring cell carcinoma. During taking gastric biopsies, there was difficulty in taking biopsies as the mass is very hard with tiny amounts of the tissue in the biopsy forceps. The patient underwent surgery, but unfortunately, due to multiple adhesions, the resection of the tumor had failed, and the patient passed away.
