A54 –year- old man presented with hematemesis and melena. The patient gave a history of a chronic liver disease. Upper GI endoscopy revealed esophageal varices and multiple duodenal ulcers with necrosis of duodenal mucosa (black color). Many biopsies were taken from these ulcers that showed chronic inflammation.
