retrograde prolapse of duodenal mucosa into the stomach#

a 16-year-old boy presented with recurrent attacks of hematemesis and melena. there are no any other complaints of upper GI symptoms nor lower GI symptoms apart from upper GI bleeding. upper GI endoscopy was done and revealed duodenal ulcer and reversed duodenal peristalsis with retrograde prolapse of duodenal mucosa into the stomach# through the pyloric ring which is a rare clinical entity.
